Jane Udoewa

Jane Udoewa is currently an application analyst at Memorial Hermann Healthcare Systems. In this position she programs, develops and customizes their Electronic Medical Records system, while providing support for over 1000 doctors, nurses and hospital personnel. Jane is a community advocate for youth empowerment and the co-founder of Imanuel Way, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, whose mission is to develop character in America’s at risk youth through sports, health , education and community service.

Ms. Udoewa is currently a member of the Mayor’s International Trade and Development Council- Africa. She also is the planning chair for the National Association of Health Service Executive’s annual children health event Let’s Move and is a graduate of the Houston Black Leadership Institute sponsored by The Greater Houston Black Chamber. She previously served as the Vice President for Young African Professional of Houston (AfriPro-Houston.) Jane received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Baylor University, graduating as the 3rd African American female in Computer Science. Her love for technology enabled her to be awarded a Master’s of Science in Computer Information Systems degree from the University of Houston-Victoria and became a member of Gamma Beta Phi.
